| CHEER CLASSES CHEER I: This class is designed to
teach children the basic skills needed to advance in the
sport of cheerleading. Your child will learn to memorize
cheers and master the art of performing them. With
professional instruction, they will learn arm motion
techniques, proper posture, jumps & kicks, and tumbling
using our state-of-art spring floor. This class is
recommended for students interested in cheerleading, are
enthusiastic, and full of energy.
CHEER II: (Tumbling/Cheer Combo) Prepares the students
that they have already mastered CHEER I. Students will
better their skills of jumping and tumbling, and begin
learning stunting techniques. Classes are also filled
with more advanced dances, sidelines, cheers, and
motions. This class is recommended for SQUADS and
enthusiastic students who wish to pursue on a
competitive ALL-Star cheerleading squad. (Sign-ups in
March)
SQUADS: (Open for squads of 12 or more) Much like CHEER
II, this is designed to help improve the squad’s
performance on the side line by teaching facial
expressions, voice projection, spirit, crowd involvement
and SO much more. #1 lesson teamwork! (Choreography for
your squad is also available)
ADD-ON CLASSES OPEN GYM:
Come and work on your Tumbling, Jumps & Motions. 40’
wall mirrors, 42’ x 42’ floor, along with 12’ x 42’
floor to practice! Open to children ages 12 & up through
the end of March on Fridays.
TUMBLING CLASSES
BEGINNER: This class is designed to help categorize
fundamental tumbling skills in three different groups:
balance and supports, rotation, and springing and
landing. Learning these three groups provides the basics
for ALL tumbling skills. This class incorporates games
to make the class more fun, and also the use of partner
stunts so the children can learn how to work together.
This is recommended for youth and adult with little to
no tumbling experience, and everyone with ENERGY!
*THERE ARE NO REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS CLASS.
INTERMEDIATE: This class prepares the student for
the more advanced tumbling skills. Using the beginner
skills, the class will progress in learning many more
new skills while reviewing the old ones. Intermediate
classes are motivational classes for the student that
wants to progress to more advance tumbling skills. This
class is recommended for squads, youth, and adults
wanting to improve and progress in the high energy sport
of tumbling.
*REQUIREMENTS- FRONT/BACK HEAD ROLLS, CART WHEELS,
HANDSTAND AND HEAD ROLLS, AND ROUND-OFF.
ADVANCED: This class will help the student to
reach their ultimate fitness and tumbling levels, and
beyond. Beginner and Intermediate skills will be
reviewed, but so many new skills will be introduced.
This class will be a high energy, motivating, yet FUN
class. The Student will learn how to cooperate with
other members in the class using teamwork to perform a
variety of different skills. This class is highly
recommended for competition squads, tumbling squads,
youth and adults wanting to reach ALL their tumbling
goals.
